Yiasou Greek Festival 

When: September 7th – September 10th

It’s that time of year again! Food, Entertainment & Fun For The Whole Family. The Yiasou Greek Festival began in 1978 and since then has become one of Charlotte’s largest cultural events. It is eagerly anticipated by the Charlotte community each year. The “Yiasou” (the Greek word for Hello, Goodbye and Cheers) Greek Festival features Hellenic cultural exhibits, authentic Greek cuisine and homemade pastries, entertainment, live music and dancing, wine tastings, art, shopping and more. Experience the sights and sounds of Greece when you visit the 40th Annual Yiasou Greek Festival. It’s a time of the year when everyone can be Greek! OPA!

*Admission: $3 for teenagers/adults, children 12 and under are free
*No pets allowed except service dogs

NODA Dessert Crawl 

When: Saturday September 9th

Create your own dessert festival with the Love Desserts Crawl through NoDa. Participating locations include Joe’s Doughs, Popbar, Haberdish, Growlers Pourhouse, and King of Pops.

Admission is free. 400 spots are available, please reserve your crawl time. The crawl will start at Joe’s Doughs where you will present us with your reservation ticket. We will give you a bracelet so participating locations know that you are a part of the crawl.

After that it’s up to you! Eat whatever desserts you want, in what order you want! Drive, bike, run, or walk from location to location! Make it your own and have fun!

If you purchase a dessert from each participating location you will receive a puzzle piece. Collect all 5 puzzle pieces, present them at the end point beside the King of Pops cart in front of Revolution Pizza and win a prize. 5 puzzle pieces equal one prize.

The crawl will happen rain or shine.

Monroe Crossing: The Clubhouse

When: Saturday September 9th

Join Monroe Crossing for their monthly Just Kidding Around monthly event, septembers theme is “The Clubhouse”.

These monthly events are catered for children ages 2 years old to 10 years old, kids will have the opportunity to enjoy making their own mouse ears, mini mouse makeovers, a chance to meet their favorite Mr. Mouse, Goofy Golf and a DJ dance party.

This is a family friendly FREE event, produced by Children’s Party Plus and sponsored by Monroe Crossing Mall.

Charlotte Oktoberfest

When: Saturday September 9th

Presented by the Carolina BrewMasters, Charlotte Oktoberfest is NC’s premier beer festival, with 2 ticket options. Charlotte Oktoberfest is also a charity-focused event: we have given over $600,000 to local non-profits in our 17 year history!

VIP Admission Entry: 12:30-6pm, $65
General Admission Entry: 2-6pm, $45

Taste of Birkdale

When: Sunday September 10th

Birkdale Village’s annual food festival returns, bigger and better than ever. All proceeds from the event benefit Lake Norman Hospice and Palliative Care.
